Kristen joined the Ironworks team in June 2025 as our Business Operations Manager, bringing a wealth of diverse experience in operations, education, and entrepreneurship. In this role, Kristen will manage all aspects of Ironworks’ day-to-day operations, allowing Jana and Heidi to dedicate even more focus to providing exceptional service to our valued clients.

Kristen possesses an insatiable curiosity and a passion for mastering new domains, a trait evident in her career trajectory. After earning a PhD in history and teaching at various universities, she embraced the dynamic world of entrepreneurship. Her journey has included various startup roles, from spearheading business development to serving as COO, and even founding her own company.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kristen, her husband, and their young son have been lucky enough to resettle in her hometown of Missoula, Montana. She enjoys spending time in nature (aka their back yard!), hosting dinner parties for friends and family, and delving into deep conversations with anyone willing to participate.
